About SJ Lamb Consulting
I'm Sarah Lamb, the owner of SJ Lamb Consulting. I work with businesses where marketing effort isn’t turning into consistent results.
That might be a local service business that needs more enquiries, or a growing organisation that needs clearer leadership across marketing and technology without hiring full time.
My work sits at the intersection of marketing, data, and systems. I focus on practical fixes, clear priorities, and making sure time and budget are spent on what actually moves the business forward.
I don’t sell tools or marketing packages. My role is to understand what’s getting in the way and help put structure, direction, and accountability in place.

How I work
I often work as a Fractional CMTO, providing senior marketing and technology leadership on a part-time or interim basis.
This gives businesses access to experienced oversight when they need it most, whether that’s during growth, change, or when there’s a gap in leadership.
My approach is hands-on, commercially focused, and grounded in real-world delivery.
Background
I have held senior marketing roles for over two decades, with a strong focus on integrating technology, data, and systems into marketing in a way that scales.
Alongside my commercial work, I founded Girl Geek Dinners in 2004, a global community that has helped change the visibility of women in technology. I have since built Girl Geek Network, a professional training platform focused on career progression in the tech sector, and have spoken internationally on these topics.
This experience shapes how I work with teams: practical, inclusive, and focused on long-term effectiveness rather than short-term noise.
